It’s almost as if the classic N64 007 game missed a -golden- opportunity by not including the Veriforce “Golden Eye” 5.56 upper set! Ok, so it may not have existed when the game came out but we couldn’t resist the gun pun just for fun… Anyway, get yours today, it’s rather dashing.
Our Golden Eye series is a limited run of locally done gold anodizing by Southwest Anodize. We bead blast each piece to get that “mat” gold look that’s not too shiny. For this kit we did our billet upper, 15″ Ultralight Full M-LOK, skeleton grip, and mil-spec buffer tube. Check out our fully assembled lowers as well. We pride ourselves on wowing our customers. Our 5.56 (also shoots .223) nitride barrels are 4150 Chrome Moly V. (ChMV) Chrome, molybdenum, and vanadium are impurities added to the barrels. By not lining our barrels with Chrome, we can keep our smooth bore intact as we do the Nitriding process. The result is a more accurate barrel. Our barrels should give you at least a 1” grouping at 100 yards. Most of our barrels shoot Sub-MOA, which means under 1” even with ball ammo. The average for this barrel is 1/2” grouping at 100 yards. This barrel is good for 15,000 rounds before you will see a drop in accuracy.
Our billet upper is locally made in Phoenix in our facility. Starts off from a solid block of 6061 aluminum and CNC downs to spec. Billet is much harder and more consistent than forged. Forged as a tendency to crack and loosen through wear and tear over time, but Billet will last 5x longer than a forged upper. We Type 3 hard coat anodize our aluminum to make it almost has hard as steel.
Our skeleton grip is a 6061 billet block that we mill down to size, there is no better deal online with aluminum grips then our AR-15 skeleton grips. In a bead blast gold anodized finish that looks amazing and feels great. We spare no detail!
This handguard is made with 6061 aluminum extrusion that we CNC to the meet our strict standards with top quality tooling. The top rail is Mil-spec, as are the M-LOK slots. This is a total length of 15” and covers most of the 16” barrel. We now use steel barrel nuts that can take greater torque specs while not adding too much weight. We pride ourselves on quality and safety.
