Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
The Empty Clip is located at 4666 E FITZGERALD RD in Decatur, IL 62521. This is a residential address - not a walk-in storefront, so you cannot simply drop by without prior arrangement. Call +1 (217) 620-4316 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
The Empty Clip holds a Type 07 federal firearms license (Manufacturer of Firearms). This license allows the business to manufacture firearms and also deal in them and receive transfers, meaning it can accept a firearm shipped from an online purchase or another dealer.
When an FFL transfer happens anywhere in the United States, the seller ships the firearm to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer; the buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it; state and local rules can add requirements. Contact The Empty Clip first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
