Big 5 Sporting Goods #131 holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell and receive firearms, including completing a transfer for a firearm shipped from an online purchase.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Big 5 Sporting Goods #131 first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
