Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
Big Jim’s Guns is located at 15550 N Ellicott Hwy in Calhan, Colorado 80808. This is a residential address and not a walk-in storefront, so you cannot simply drop by. Call +1 (719) 661-4701 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
Big Jim’s Guns holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell and receive firearms, including a transfer shipped from an online purchase.
When buying online, the seller ships the firearm to your chosen FFL dealer. You collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Big Jim’s Guns first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
