The Mountain Man holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases. It serves as a local point for completing the legal handover of firearms.
An FFL transfer anywhere in the United States works by having the seller ship the firearm to your chosen dealer. You then collect it in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules can add requirements.
