Elk River Guns is located at 1320 Dream Island Plaza in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Call +1 (970) 879-7565 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before visiting.
Elk River Guns holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers.
An FFL transfer works anywhere in the United States. The seller ships the firearm to the buyer’s chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Elk River Guns first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
