Clyde Armory is located at 4800 Atlanta Hwy in Athens, GA 30606. The store is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Call +1 (706) 549-1842 to confirm current hours, fees, and availability before you visit.
Clyde Armory holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from an online purchase or another dealer.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to your chosen dealer. You collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Clyde Armory first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
