Sowega Firearms is located at 9445 Morey Hill Rd in Doerun, Georgia. This business holds a federal firearms license that allows it to act as a dealer or transfer point for firearms purchased online or from private sellers.
The specific license type determines what transactions are handled here. A standard dealer license permits the business to receive, sell, and buy firearms, including processing transfers from other licensed dealers. If you have a firearm shipped from an online retailer, this location serves as the designated receiver where you will complete the required paperwork.
To complete a transfer, you must visit in person with a valid photo ID and pass a federal background check. State and local laws may impose additional requirements. Contact the business directly to confirm they accept transfers, verify current fees, and check availability before making the trip.
