Sportsman Supply is located at 1127 Calhoun Falls Hwy in Elberton, Georgia. The store operates Monday through Tuesday from 9am to 5:30pm, Wednesday from 9am to 3pm, Thursday from 9am to 5:30pm, Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 8am to 3pm. You can call (706) 283-7830 to confirm these hours or ask about fees before you go.
Sportsman Supply holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes accepting a transfer for a firearm purchased online. It serves as the local point of contact for completing the required paperwork and background check.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to this dealer. You then collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Sportsman Supply first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
