Hester’s Gunworks is located at 600 E South St in Dix, Illinois, 62830. The business operates on Monday–Friday 09:15–13:30 hours. Call +1 (618) 266-7990 to confirm availability and any fees before visiting.
Hester’s Gunworks holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to this chosen dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Hester’s Gunworks first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
