Second Amendment Sports is located at 3705 W Elm Street in Mchenry, IL 60050. The store is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 19:00, and until 21:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is open Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00. Call +1 (815) 385-5522 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
Second Amendment Sports holds a Type 07 federal firearms license (Manufacturer of Firearms). This license allows the business to manufacture firearms and also deal in them and receive transfers.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Second Amendment Sports first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
