A & S Gunsmithing

A & S Gunsmithing is located at 307 South 24Th St in Mount Vernon, Illinois. To confirm operating hours, fees, and availability before visiting, call +1 (618) 244-2844.

The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms), which allows it to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers from online purchases.

A federal firearms license (FFL) dealer facilitates the legal transfer of firearms across state lines. The seller ships the firearm to this chosen FFL dealer; the buyer then collects it in person with a photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check before taking possession. State and local rules can add further requirements to this process. Contact A & S Gunsmithing first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
