Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
Located at 357 N 2575 Rd in Oglesby, Illinois, Rod Smith Guns operates as a residential address rather than a walk-in storefront. Call +1 (815) 223-6654 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before visiting.
Holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases. It serves as a designated point for receiving firearms sold by other dealers or private parties.
An FFL transfer involves the seller shipping the firearm to this chosen dealer. The buyer must collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Rod Smith Guns first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
