Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
Located at 10108 Ellis Rd in Saint Jacob, Illinois, Petty Metals operates as a residential address and is not a walk-in storefront. Because the premises are not open to the public, you should call +1 (618) 604-7743 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before making any trip to this location.
Petty Metals holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes processing transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers. It is a standard dealer license that permits the full range of commercial firearm transactions.
An FFL transfer works anywhere in the United States by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen FFL dealer. The buyer must collect it in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check before taking possession. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Petty Metals first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
