Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
The Trading Post is located at 2985 Halcyon Dr in Bettendorf, IA 52722. This is a residential address, not a walk-in storefront, so visitors should not expect to simply walk in off the street. The best way to confirm current hours, fees, and availability before traveling is to call +1 (563) 343-8875.
The Trading Post holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases. It serves as a local point for completing the legal requirements of a firearm transfer.
In the United States, a firearm transfer works by having the seller ship the item to your chosen FFL dealer. You then collect it in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules can add extra requirements. Contact The Trading Post first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
