Jims Shooters Supply – Waterloo

Jims Shooters Supply is located at 626 Lakeside in Waterloo, Iowa. The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license which classifies it as a Dealer in Firearms, allowing it to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers from online purchases. Call (319) 232-2930 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before going.

A Type 01 license permits the dealer to engage in the business of manufacturing and dealing in firearms, and receiving firearms from others for transfer. This means the store can legally accept a firearm shipped from another state or an online retailer directly to its premises for the buyer to pick up.

FFL transfers work across the United States by having the seller ship the firearm to this chosen dealer. The buyer must collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Jims Shooters Supply first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
