Google lists this location as permanently closed. It still appears in the ATF Federal Firearms Licensee list, so the licence may not have lapsed yet - but do not travel here or arrange a transfer without contacting the licensee first.
Shanons Guns is located at 1805 Wooden Rd in Dodge City, KS 67801. You can call +1 (620) 338-6215 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell and receive firearms, including a transfer shipped from an online purchase.
The seller ships the firearm to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer; the buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it; state and local rules can add requirements. Contact Shanons Guns first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
