Fort Hays Armory is at 2919 Hall Street in Hays, Kansas 67601. Because operating hours are not listed, you should call +1 (785) 259-0132 to confirm if the business is open and to ask about transfer fees before making the trip.
Fort Hays Armory holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which means they can accept a transfer for a firearm shipped from an online purchase or another dealer.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer. The buyer then collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Fort Hays Armory first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
