Located at 18809 4 Corners Rd in Russell, Kansas, Competitive Edge is a local firearms dealer holding a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers. You can reach them at +1 (785) 483-3651 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before visiting.
The Type 01 license specifically permits the dealer to engage in the business of manufacturing or dealing in firearms, and importing firearms into the United States. This means Competitive Edge is authorized to facilitate the legal transfer of firearms to buyers who meet federal and state requirements.
For any firearm purchased online or at a gun show, the seller must ship the item to this FFL dealer. The buyer then collects it in person with a valid photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check. State and local rules may add further requirements. Contact Competitive Edge first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
