Mountain Outdoors holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the chosen dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check.
