Google lists this location as permanently closed. It still appears in the ATF Federal Firearms Licensee list, so the licence may not have lapsed yet - but do not travel here or arrange a transfer without contacting the licensee first.
Sterling Firearm Repair is located at 3299 Lawsonia Rd in Crisfield, MD 21817. You can reach them at +1 (443) 880-8586 to confirm current hours, fees and availability before driving to the location.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This classification allows the dealer to buy, sell and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers, making it a valid destination for receiving a firearm.
When buying a firearm online or at a gun show, the seller ships the item to your chosen FFL dealer. You then collect it in person, present a valid photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check. State and local rules may add extra steps. Contact Sterling Firearm Repair first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
