The Range 517

The Range 517 is located at 6135 W Saginaw Hwy in Lansing, Michigan. The store operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Call +1 (517) 580-5683 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before visiting.

The Range 517 holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases. It serves as a designated location for completing the required background checks and paperwork for firearm transfers.

When a firearm is purchased online or at a gun show, the seller ships it to your chosen FFL dealer. You must collect it in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add further requirements. Contact The Range 517 first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
