The store is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 07:00 to 19:00, Saturday from 07:00 to 17:00, and Sunday and Thursday from 07:00 to 15:00. Schafer’s Bait & Sportinggoods holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers. It serves as a legal point of transfer for buyers in the area.
An FFL transfer begins when the seller ships the firearm to this dealer. The buyer must collect it in person, present a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Schafer’s Bait & Sportinggoods first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
