Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
Located at 200 Prairie Ave in Darfur, Minnesota, Schmidt’s Gun Shop operates from a residential address rather than a walk-in storefront. Because this is not a standard retail location, you should call +1 (507) 877-9867 to confirm availability and any specific requirements before making the journey.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes accepting transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers.
When purchasing a firearm online or from a private party, the seller ships the item to your chosen FFL dealer. You must then collect it in person, present a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local laws may add further requirements. Contact Schmidt’s Gun Shop first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
