Big Jim’s Gun Repair is located at 3847 E Hwy 61 in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Call +1 (218) 387-9351 to confirm hours, fees, and availability before going.

The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms), which allows it to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers from online purchases.

When an FFL transfer occurs, the seller ships the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Big Jim’s Gun Repair first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
