  • The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms), which allows it to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers from online purchases.

When a firearm is purchased online or at an out-of-state range, the seller ships it directly to this licensed dealer. The buyer must then appear in person with a valid photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check before taking possession of the item. State and local laws may impose additional requirements. Contact Big Sky Gunsmithing first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
