Empire State Firearms holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers. It serves as a compliant point for completing the required legal paperwork.

An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Empire State Firearms first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
