Southern Outdoors is located at 3327 Hyw 64 W in Hayesville, NC, in the 28904 postal code area. The store operates from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. You should call +1 (828) 389-2289 to confirm these hours, any transfer fees, and availability before making the trip.
Southern Outdoors holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes accepting a transfer shipped from an online purchase or another private seller. It serves as the local point of contact for completing the required paperwork.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to your chosen dealer. You then collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Southern Outdoors first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
