Residential premises - not a storefront
This federal firearms licence is held at a residential address. The licensee can receive and transfer firearms, but there is no shop to visit. Arrange everything by phone or email before sending anything here.
J & L Guns – Old Fort is located at 543 E Main St in Old Fort, NC 28762. This is a residential address and not a walk-in storefront, so you should call +1 (828) 668-4401 to confirm hours and availability before visiting.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers.
FFL transfers work by having the seller ship the firearm to this chosen dealer. You collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State rules may add requirements. Contact J & L Guns – Old Fort first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
