Google lists this location as permanently closed. It still appears in the ATF Federal Firearms Licensee list, so the licence may not have lapsed yet - but do not travel here or arrange a transfer without contacting the licensee first.
Mountain Range is located at 17 Palmer Rd in Waynesville, North Carolina. You can reach them at +1 (828) 452-7870 to confirm their current hours, transfer fees, and availability before you make the trip.
Mountain Range holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes accepting a transfer shipped from an online purchase or another private seller.
The transfer process works anywhere in the United States: the seller ships the firearm to your chosen FFL dealer, and you collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Mountain Range first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
