Located at 6163 S Hwy 8 in Stanley, North Dakota, Hunter Firearms – Stanley operates as a local point of contact for firearm transactions. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. To confirm current hours, fees, or availability before visiting, call +1 (701) 628-4570.
Hunter Firearms – Stanley holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers. It serves as a compliant receiving location for interstate transfers.
When purchasing a firearm online or from a private party, the seller ships the item directly to the chosen FFL dealer. The buyer must then appear in person with a valid photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a federal background check before taking possession. State and local laws may impose additional requirements. Contact Hunter Firearms – Stanley first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
