935 5Th Avenue in Hammond, Oregon, is where Johnsons Gun Shop is located. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 and open on Sundays from 12:00 to 17:00. You can call +1 (503) 861-2643 to confirm these hours, any transfer fees, or availability before you make the trip.
Johnson’s Gun Shop holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes processing a transfer for a firearm shipped from an online purchase or another private seller.
An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to this chosen dealer. The buyer then collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Johnsons Gun Shop – Hammond first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
