Smitty’s Ace Outpost holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers. It serves as a local point for completing the legal handover process.

An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to this chosen dealer. You must collect it in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Smitty’s Ace Outpost first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
