Down Range Supply holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from an online purchase. It is the standard license for a retail firearms dealer.

An FFL transfer works anywhere in the United States by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements.
