When purchasing a firearm from a private seller or an online retailer, the item must be shipped to a licensed dealer rather than directly to your home. You then visit that dealer in person with a valid photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check to take possession. State and local laws may impose additional requirements on this process. Contact R C Davis Firearms first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
