D2 Customs holds a Type 07 federal firearms license (Manufacturer of Firearms). This license allows the business to manufacture firearms, deal in them, and receive transfers.
When you buy a firearm online or at an out-of-state shop, the seller ships it to your chosen FFL dealer. You then collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements.
