D M Whitley Ltd

D M Whitley Ltd is located at 6 West Main St, Waynesboro, PA 17268. The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms), which allows it to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers from online purchases. Because operating hours and specific transfer fees can change, you should call +1 (717) 765-4333 to confirm availability and costs before visiting.

A Type 01 license authorizes the dealer to engage in the business of manufacturing or dealing in firearms. This means the business can legally accept a firearm shipped from another state or an online retailer, provided the buyer completes the required paperwork. The dealer facilitates the transfer process by acting as the receiving point for the firearm.

When purchasing a firearm online or from a private seller in another state, the item must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in the buyer’s state. The buyer must then appear in person with a valid photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local laws may impose additional requirements. Contact D M Whitley Ltd first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
