Bates Firearms is located at 4310 Vaucluse Rd in Aiken, SC. The shop operates Monday through Thursday from 07:30 until 17:00 and Friday from 07:30 until 12:00. You can call (803) 646-0065 to confirm these hours, any transfer fees, or availability before you visit.
Bates Firearms holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other private sellers.
When you buy a firearm online or at a gun show, the seller ships it to this licensed dealer. You must go to the shop in person with a photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check before taking possession. State and local laws may add extra steps. Contact Bates Firearms first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
