Academy Sports & Outdoors (#71) is located at 4400 SONCY ROAD in Amarillo, TX 79124. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 22:00, and on Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00. Call +1 (806) 457-2460 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
This location holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). That license allows the business to buy, sell and receive firearms, including a transfer shipped from an online purchase.
When you buy a firearm online, the seller ships it to your chosen FFL dealer. You collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Academy Sports & Outdoors (#71) first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
