Rick’s Gun Repairs holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This specific license classification permits the holder to legally buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes facilitating the transfer of a gun shipped from an online retailer or another private party. It also allows the dealer to engage in general commerce involving firearms within the bounds of federal law.

An FFL transfer anywhere in the United States requires the seller to ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer; the buyer then collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check, while state and local rules may add further requirements. Contact Rick’s Gun Repairs first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
