The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This classification permits the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, which includes processing transfers for firearms shipped from online retailers or other private sellers.

An FFL transfer involves the seller shipping the firearm to this chosen dealer. The buyer must then collect it in person, presenting a photo ID, completing ATF Form 4473, and passing a background check. State and local rules may add further requirements. Contact Fair Oaks Firearms first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
