1836 Gun Shop holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases. This is the standard license required for most commercial firearm transactions and transfers between private parties.

When purchasing a firearm online or from out of state, the seller ships the item directly to the chosen Federal Firearms License holder. You must then collect it in person, presenting a valid photo ID, completing ATF Form 4473, and passing a background check. State and local laws may add further requirements. Contact 1836 Gun Shop first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
