Academy Sports + Outdoors #9 is located at 13400 E Freeway in Houston, TX 77015. The store operates Monday through Saturday from 8am to 10pm and Sunday from 9am to 9pm. Call +1 (713) 445-4400 to confirm hours, fees and availability before going.
This location holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). A Type 01 license allows the dealer to buy, sell and receive firearms, including a transfer shipped from an online purchase.
When an FFL transfer occurs anywhere in the United States, the seller ships the firearm to the buyer’s chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Academy Sports + Outdoors #9 first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
