Thacker Ace Hardware is located at 3671 S Crater Rd in Petersburg, Virginia. The store operates Monday through Saturday from 08:00 until 18:00, and on Sundays from 10:00 until 17:00. Call (804) 861-6700 to confirm current hours, transfer fees, and availability before you visit.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including transfers shipped from online purchases or other dealers. It is a standard license for retail firearm sales and transfers.
An FFL transfer works anywhere in the United States. The seller ships the firearm to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Thacker Ace Hardware first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
