Ponderosa Gunsmith is located at 145 Pleasant Ridge Drive in Wirtz, Virginia. The shop operates Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and is open on Saturdays from 09:00 to 10:00. You can call +1 (540) 204-6099 to confirm current hours, fees, and availability before visiting.
Ponderosa Gunsmith holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the business to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including a transfer shipped from an online purchase.
An FFL transfer begins when the seller ships the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer. The buyer must collect it in person with photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473, and pass a background check. State and local rules may add requirements. Contact Ponderosa Gunsmith first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
