An FFL transfer works by having the seller ship the firearm to the buyer’s chosen dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473 and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Big 5 Sporting Goods #151 first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
