Google lists this location as permanently closed. It still appears in the ATF Federal Firearms Licensee list, so the licence may not have lapsed yet - but do not travel here or arrange a transfer without contacting the licensee first.
Wanta Hardware & Supply is located at 172943 County Road C in Hatley, Wisconsin 54440. For information on current hours, transfer fees, and availability before you travel, call +1 (715) 454-7200.
The business holds a Type 01 federal firearms license (Dealer in Firearms). This license allows the dealer to buy, sell, and receive firearms, including processing a transfer for a firearm shipped from an online purchase.
When an FFL transfer occurs anywhere in the United States, the seller ships the firearm to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer. The buyer collects it in person with photo ID, completes ATF Form 4473, and passes a background check before taking it. State and local rules can add requirements. Contact Wanta Hardware & Supply first to confirm it accepts the transfer and what it charges.
