Our AR-15 Two Piece Drop In Rail Systems are very easy to install. The hardest part in swapping these for your standard GI handguard is taking the GI handguard off. The GI handguards are plastic with ribs and holes in top and bottom. Most of the AR-15 drop in rail systems are in three colors which are Anodized Black, Magpul Flat Dark Earth (FDE) and Magpul OD Green. All of the rails we carry are mil-spec. Simply follow through the instructions to remove your standard GI handguard. Pull back on your delta ring, then with a flat head screwdriver, split apart the handguards horizontally.
