This 16.5 inch hand guard in Magpul OD Green will add that little extra length you are looking for on a 18″ barrel or if you have an extended muzzle device or suppressor on a 16″ barrel. perfectly sits up against the upper receiver to offer a beautiful monolithic look. A strong and secure locking system is achieved with 6 T27 screws, 2 each on the 3, 6, and 9 O’clock positions. Being a free float system allows for increased accuracy and performance.
Pro Tip: This is a 16.5 inch handguard! So if you have a 16 inch barrel, and try to install a large muzzle brake, you may see the sides of the hand guard disappear. If you do try this, please send us videos and pictures, so we can post it online and make fun of you.
