Description

The 12″ AIR-LOK Series handguard utilizes a compression lock design to secure Monolithic Top Rail directly against the upper receiver. This system replaces the traditional free-float interface with a rigid connection, ensuring Top Rail remains stable under recoil. The body is CNC machined from T6 aluminum, providing a lightweight yet durable structure for mounting accessories. It features M-LOK slots on the bottom, left, and right sides, allowing for modular attachment of grips, lights, or lasers without the bulk of a full-length rail.

Weight reduction is achieved through triangle and diamond skeletonized cuts distributed across the handguard’s surface. Despite these extensive cuts, the unit maintains structural integrity while sliding over the barrel nut. The design includes a proprietary barrel nut that facilitates the compression mechanism, tightening Top Rail system against the receiver with four screws. This tight fit ensures the monolithic Picatinny top rail functions as an extension of the upper receiver rather than a floating component.

Constructed from T6 aluminum with an Anodized Bronze finish, this handguard offers corrosion resistance and a distinct aesthetic. The rear end of the handguard integrates QD swivel sockets on both the right and left sides, providing reliable sling attachment points. The internal diameter is specified at 1.32″, designed to clear standard AR-15 barrels while maintaining clearance for gas tubes or other under-barrel components. The total weight, including the proprietary barrel nut, is 8.9 oz, balancing weight savings with the rigidity required for a compression-lock system.
